Photojournalist Ismail Ferdous's some of the images going to project onto buildings around New York City from The garment collapse of Rana Plaza trying to build awareness in New York City.
Tonight 6pm at the NE corner of 61st and Broadway.
Join 99 Pickets, in collaboration with Bangladeshi photojournalist Ismail Ferdous and filmmaker Nathan Fitch, at New York Fashion Week, and demand that clothing retailers and brands be accountable for the inhumane and and dangerous conditions---leading to the deaths of thousands, and poverty of millions---at the factories that make their clothing.
We stand in solidarity with the workers of Bangladesh and are outraged over the tragic collapse of the Rana Plaza building, which killed more than 1,100 garment workers last April. This follows the fire at the Tazreen Fashions factory in November 2012 where more than 100 Bangladeshi workers lost their lives.
